Terms and Conditions

These sales conditions apply to the sale of all goods from the online shop of Janusfabrikken AS to the consumer. The conditions apply together with your order, and form the basis of the agreement for the purchase. This is confirmed with an order confirmation from us. The sales conditions and other information in the online store are only available in Norwegian. We only deliver to Norway, in the sense of the Norwegian mainland.

Age limit
You must be at least 18 years old to shop at Janusfabrikken AS. Anyone who is registered as a customer at Janusfabrikken AS is responsible for payment. The responsibility also includes other people's use of access to your account and the like, including unauthorized use, as long as it cannot be demonstrated that unauthorized use was made possible through negligence on our part.

Order and agreement process
Your order is binding once it has been registered. We are also bound by your order if it does not deviate from what is offered by us in our online store. You still have the right to withdraw from the purchase in accordance with the Act on the right of withdrawal. When we receive your order, we will confirm the order and automatically send you an order confirmation. Read the order confirmation carefully when you receive it, and check whether the confirmation wording matches the order. Deviations between your order and the order confirmation are considered a new offer from us, which you can accept or decline.
We work to give our customers as correct information about our products as possible. However, we reserve the right that typographical errors may occur, which may mean that we cannot deliver according to information provided in our online store, our marketing or otherwise. Furthermore, we reserve the right to cancel your order if the product or one of the products you have ordered is sold out. In the event of sold-out situations, you will receive a notification of this, possibly together with information about what we can offer instead. You will have the option to accept our new offer with the changes we specify in relation to your order, or cancel the order.
If you wish to cancel an order, you must contact us by e-mail or telephone as soon as you have received the order confirmation.

All prices stated are inclusive of 25 percent value added tax. If VAT, taxes or other charges change, we reserve the right to change our prices accordingly. We reserve the right for any errors that may occur due to technical failure.

We accept both VISA and MasterCard.
When you pay for the goods by credit card, the amount is not deducted immediately. We first do what is called an authorization of the card to check its validity, then reserve the amount you have to pay. Only when we send the goods from our warehouse do we deduct the amount as reserve.
Janusfabrikken AS is responsible for all credit card transactions made through this website. We work with Nets (formerly BBS), a strong provider in payment processing and who deliver secure solutions

After you have sent your order, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. In the order confirmation, you will receive information about the delivery time, the total amount of the order and the method of payment.
Our aim is that all goods in the online store should be in stock by means of the stock balance being updated continuously. (However, we do not disregard that deviations may occur during periods of high traffic on the online store)
The goods are normally delivered from our warehouse to the carrier two working days after the order has been completed. You will then receive a package tracking message via email from our customer center and can follow the shipment further.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the address you provide when ordering is correct. If the item is damaged on delivery, you must notify us of this as soon as possible and preferably on the day of arrival. Preferably use e-mail. Describe the injuries carefully.

We reserve the right for typographical errors on our websites and errors that may arise for technical reasons. We also reserve the right to minor deviations in colors and patterns on displayed products and what is actually delivered.

Returns and complaints
The Norwegian Purchase Act applies to the purchase of Janus products and applies if the product has a defect. In short, a product will be defective if it is not as agreed, or as you can expect from similar products. However, the defect must be due to a fault in the product. If you have used the garment in violation of the instructions for use, for example washed it incorrectly, or simply been careless, you will not normally have a claim where we cover your expenses for repairs or a new product. As a general rule, the product must be sent to the Janus factory for complaint processing. Then write a covering letter in which you tell what happened.
Products that are to be advertised on must be washed before being sent in. Used briefs and boxers cannot be returned, exchanged or submitted for complaints.
Masks cannot be exchanged or returned, for reasons of infection control.

Right of withdrawal
When purchasing in our online store, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement within 14 days without giving any reason for this. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier, whom you have designated, takes physical possession of the goods.
In order to use the right of withdrawal, you must notify us:

in an unequivocal way about your decision to withdraw from the agreement (e.g. in a letter sent by post or e-mail). You can use the cancellation form attached to the order confirmation you receive by e-mail, but it is not mandatory. In order to comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient that you send us a notification that you want to use the right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

The effects of exercising the right of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this agreement, we shall refund all payments we have received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs as a result of you having chosen a different type of delivery than the cheapest type of standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and in in all cases no later than 14 days after the day we receive notification of your decision to withdraw from this agreement.
We make the repayment to the bank account number you provide.
In all cases, you will not be charged any fee as a result of the chargeback.
We can withhold payment until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided documentation that the goods have been sent back, or until whichever of these times occurs first.
You must return the goods or deliver them to us, without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days after the day you notified us that you wanted to withdraw from the agreement. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the 14-day deadline has expired. You must bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
You are responsible only for any reduction in the value of the goods due to handling of the goods other than that which is necessary to determine their nature, characteristics and function.

All orders over NOK 800 including VAT are sent free of charge. For orders below NOK 800 including VAT, a shipping surcharge of NOK 79 including VAT will be added.
