JanusPro® Plus – Flame retardant wool underwear made from 79% merino wool, 19% Modacrylic and 2% antistatic fibre. The combination of these three fibers ensures that the garments have a permanent, built-in flame retardant effect, without the use of chemicals.

The collection is CE marked and certified according to EN ISO 11612:2015 flame retardant textiles, EN 1149:2018 protection against static electricity and IEC 61482-2:2018 APC 1 electric arc, box test. The material has also been tested in accordance with IEC 61482-1-1:2019 open-arc with calorific value EBT50=6.4/ELIM=6.2 cal/cm2. JanusPro Plus is tested and approved according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 class 2 and is guaranteed to be free of substances harmful to the skin.

Area of use: JanusPro® Antiflame Plus can be used as underwear directly against the skin, but is also suitable as an extra insulating layer on top of our thinner qualities, especially on the extra cold days. The garments are perfect for those who work in harsh or variable climate zones and at the same time need a flame retardant effect, protection against static electricity or arc sparks. The high proportion of merino wool ensures good insulation even when wet and keeps you warm and dry.

Sustainability and the environment

Wool is a unique fiber with a combination of comfort and performance that no one has been able to copy. Wool is a sustainable choice. Woolen fabric can be recycled into yarn again and should woolen clothes end up in nature, they are quickly broken down by natural processes, unlike synthetic materials. With woolen clothes from Janus, you get clothes that are good to wear and that are sustainable.
